PEAK 1990-4 Anastigmatic Measuring Magnifier 4x
The optical system of the PEAK 1990-4 Anastigmatic measuring magnifier consists of two groups of three elements each. It offers images with correct colour, absolutely sharp edges and extremely high contrast over the entire visible surface. The image perceived through this magnifier is particularly sharp from the centre of the image to the edge, because the magnifier has been subjected to careful optical connection to eliminate all aberration and distortion. Conventional magnifiers are corrected only in the centre of the image. This magnifier is similar to an anastigmatic lens in a camera and produced with the same care and precision. One aspect that differentiates the lens in a magnifier from a camera lens is the effective pupil of the magnifier located 25 mm below the upper pole of the magnifier, so that an observer can evaluated the entire image field by moving only his eye rather than his head. In addition to classical applications such as checking images, printing and slides or measuring lengths and distances up to 40 mm, the 1990-4 anastigmatic magnifiers (measuring range 60 mm) and 1990-7 anastigmatic magnifiers (measuring range 40 mm) are used for checking items such as X-ray films or in the field of dermatology. Anastigmatic magnifiers are the ideal tool for all applications requiring a large field of view in addition to perfectly distortion-free, true-colour images. The scales are contained in a plastic ring and can be removed simply. These magnifiers are coated to prevent reflection.

Peak 1996 Stand Magnifier 30x
This loupe is a simple microscopic magnifier with magnification factor of 30x. It is obvious that a magnifier with magnification factor greater than 20x can be produced most simply using a combination of lens with eyepiece positioned at a certain distance as with a stand microscope. However a longer tube is essential for a compound microscope, so that it cannot be used with one hand. Moreover the image is reversed. This gave rise to the demand for a magnifier, which could be held in one hand, capable of producing true images, whereby the optical performance was then secondary. This magnifier is a product that fulfils all requirements in the area of photomechanics and precision brands.
| Magnification factor | 30 x |
| Focusable | No |
| Field of view | 7 mm. |
| Scale | No |
| Optical characteristics | Achromatic, distortion-free |
| Dimensions | 36 x 20 mm |
| Weight | 10 grams |
| Box | included |
The magnifier is so small and light, that it can easily be used with one hand, while holding the object to be inspected in the other. Thanks to its excellent optical quality, its capabilities are comparable to a stand microscope with the same magnification factor, whereby the resulting image is not reversed. This magnifier consists of four lenses in two groups. It is laid out so that the field of view is greatest when the pupil of the observing eye is located along the optical axis 8mm away from the crown of the lens. For this reason the user should press the magnifier lightly against his face with one hand, while holding the object to be inspected with the other. The distance to the magnifier can be varied for focussing. The minimum depth of field resulting from the high magnification factor of the magnifier makes it recommendable for the user to practice precise focussing. It is also necessary to hold the magnifier so that the optical axis coincides with the eye's axis of vision. These magnifiers are coated to prevent reflection.

PEAK 1999 Telecentric Measuring Magnifier 7x
The optical system used in this magnifier is not a conventional, but rather a “telecentric” system, meaning that a small opening is present at the focal point of the lens system, allowing in addition to measurement of the length and width of flat objects, measurement of three-dimensional objects such as spheres, cylinders, etc. without parallax errors. The telecentric PEAK measuring magnifier 1999 corresponds in principle to an expensive profile projector. The system of lenses consisting of three elements in two groups, was designed specifically for this purpose.

| Focusable | Yes | |
| Field of view | 20 mm. | |
| Measuring length | 20 mm. | |

To use this magnifier first set the distance between the scale and lens systems by turning a knurled outer tube until the scale is visible sharply through the opening with the largest diameter (3 mm), which can be adjusted with the rotating ring on the tip of the magnifier. Then position the magnifier on the object to be measured so that the measuring scale is in contact with it and read the length off on the scale. The is subdivided into increments of 0.1 mm over a length of 20 mm, so that the length of objects can be read off with an error quota of less than 0.03 mm. When measuring three-dimensional objects, the opening should be set to the smallest diameter (1 mm) or, even better, use the one with a 0.5 mm wide slot. The slot should be perpendicular to the line, whose length is to be measured. Even in this case, parts of the object not in contact with the scale may not be sharp, because they are not properly focused. Errors cannot be made when measuring the length as long as the centre distance between the unfocused images is measured, because the minimum brightness of the images resulting from the small opening is compensated by higher illumination of the object resulting from the characteristics of the telecentric system. All interchangeable scales (see scales) for the S-1975 series can also be used for the 1999 measuring magnifier. These magnifiers are coated to prevent reflection.

PEAK 2055 Measuring Magnifier 20x
PEAK Measuring magnifier 2055 is a wide-angle magnifier with magnification factor of 20x in combination with a glass scale with 0.1 mm incrementation. The magnifier has been redesigned to achieve focussed observation of the entire 12 mm diameter field at a magnification factor of 20x and the field curvature as well as the lateral chromatic deviation are corrected perfectly by the combination of four lenses. Two of the lenses are produced using a new type of optical glass. Moreover all air/glass interfaces have a multiple coatings to prevent internal reflections (anti-reflex coating) Two additional black scales and two white scales are available for these measuring magnifiers (see scales). A very large field of view and measuring range in relation to the magnification factor have again been achieved with this perfect optical system. The optical system consists of three groups of thee lenses each.

PEAK 2066 Zoom Measuring Magnifier 10-20x
PEAK Zoom magnifiers 2044 and 2066 are unique optical products, allowing infinite zoom magnification. They consists of 8 lenses in 6 groups and allow zoom ranges from 8 x to 16 x and from 10 x to 20 x. The optical systems used for these magnifiers provide sufficient luminosity in all magnification stages, whereby the optical aberration is minimal. The notched diaphragm helps to select magnification of 8x, 10x, 12x, 14x and 16x, or 10x, 15x and 20x, which are shown in a small window. Before starting measurement, move the ring at the bottom of the lens body and select the optimal magnification factor. After selection, use the focus on the eye cup to focus the built-in scale. This eight lens optical system is the perfect tool for technicians and appraisers. These magnifiers are coated to prevent reflection.

Peak Glass Measuring Scale 1972
Measurement of greater distances with measuring magnifiers is possible only to a limited extent due to the length of the scales. PEAK glass measuring scales are the optimum supplement for quick and simple determination of lengths and distances. The four lengths of 50 mm, 100 mm, 200 mm and 300 mm are supplied with a 15x reading magnifier (standard 1962 magnifier) in an elegant transport box. When measuring lengths and distances it is necessary to ensure that the scale is parallel to the object to be measured, to prevent measuring errors. A test report is not included with 1972 glass measuring rods, but is available if desired at additional cost and increase to delivery time by approx. 5-6 days. To make on offer for the report we require information on the number of measuring points/distances required in the report. Our subsupplier, who makes up these reports, is certified in compliance with EN ISO 17025 and EN ISO 9001:2000.

Peak Glass Measuring Scale 1972-S
Measurement of greater distances with measuring magnifiers is possible only to a limited extent due to the length of the scales. PEAK glass measuring scales are the optimum supplement for quick and simple determination of lengths and distances. The four lengths of 300 mm, 500 mm, 700 mm and 1,000 mm are supplied with two achromatic, focusable, 10 x reading magnifiers (see measuring magnifier 1983). The magnifiers on these measuring scales have a field of view of 20 mm. The acrylic mounts for the magnifiers have leaf springs integrated into the sides to prevent them from slipping. Separate silk lined boxes are included for the glass measuring scale and the two magnifiers. The graduations are 0.1 mm. The graduations with a width of 0.02 mm are marked in five heights (in Y) on the measuring rod. Graduation 0.1 mm = 1.0 mm, Graduation 0.5 mm = 1.4 mm, Graduation 1.0 mm = 1.8 mm, Graduation 5 mm = 2.4 mm and Graduation 10 mm = 3.0 mm.
When measuring lengths and distances it is necessary to ensure that the scale is parallel to the object to be measured, to prevent measuring errors.
A calibration certificate is not included with 1972-S glass measuring scales but can be supplied if required. The scales with measuring lengths of 300 and 500 mm can be supplied with a calibration certificate for the measuring magnifier in compliance with VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 Sheet 27 Ü at additional cost. This increases the delivery time by approx. 5-6 days. To make on offer for the calibration certificate we require information on the number of measuring points/distances required in the calibration certificate. Our subsupplier, who makes up these reports, is certified in compliance with EN ISO 17025 and EN ISO 9001:2000.

PEAK Measuring Microscope 2008
The PEAK 2008 measuring microscopes are focused by turning the coaxial tube. Available with magnification factors of 25, 50, 75 and 100x. The eyepiece can be focused on the scale, which, in contrast to the 2034 series, is not installed in the eyepiece. The measuring scale is installed separately above the tube. The top half of the tube can be screwed off for easy replacement of the measuring scale. The scale can be rotated inside the microscope making it unnecessary to turn the entire instrument. Two additional scales are available (see metric or inch) and an eight megapixel, miniature USB camera can be attached to the eyepiece allowing images to be saved on a laptop or PC. Click here to view technical data sheet.
These allow simple length measurement as well as determination of angles. No interchangeable lenses are available for the 2008 measuring microscopes. A small, handy transport box prevents damage to this precision instrument with weight of only 82 grams. A clear acrylic base as well as an eye cup can be ordered as replacement parts.
The scale engraved on the focusing ring and the needle on the tube allow depth measurements to an accuracy of 0.1 mm. This microscope is practical for measuring the thickness, height, or depth of objects with different levels
PEAK Measuring Microscope 2034
One of the primary advantages of the PEAK 2034 measuring microscope is its easy handling. Simply set the microscope on the field to be measured and focus – that’s all. Thanks to the clear acrylic base the surface to be inspected can be view from all sides, making it easy to find the point to be measured. Focusing is accomplished by coaxial rotation of the tube. The short light path through the microscope makes the object appear reversed. An eight megapixel, miniature USB camera can be attached to the eyepiece allowing images to be saved on a laptop or PC. Click to view technical data sheet.
The optical system consists of a lens and an eye cup. All lenses are coated for sharp, high contrast images. Seven types of lenses are available: 2x, 4x, 6x, 10x, 15x, 20x and 30x. The eyepiece has a magnification factor of 10x and the focal plane is equipped with a scale. Contamination of the scale with dust is not possible thanks to the Huygens design with focal plane in the lens system. The lens closest to the eyepiece can be moved by turning the adjustment ring, so that the scale can be adjusted to match the eye correction of the observer. The eyepiece associated with each magnification factor (object lens) can be replaced by simply pulling out. If additional lenses are to be used for visually checking purposes only then additional eyepiece are not required, otherwise it is important to order the associated eyepiece with each additional lense. The side illumination allows measurements on dark surfaces or in darkened rooms. Two 1.5 Volt AA batteries are required for operation. The microscope is supplied in a padded transport box offering secure transport space for four additional lenses available as accessories.
PEAK Measuring Microscope 2034-CIL
The 2034 series microscopes are available as a special model with coaxial illumination (Köhler illumination). This additional illumination is reflected into the light beam from the side by a system of prisms. This prevents irritating reflections particularly with highly glossy materials. This coaxial illumination is absolutely essential to check surface structures on smooth materials or for high contrast reproduction of colour pigments. The battery box included with the microscope contains two 1.5 Volt AA batteries and has a potentiometer to adjust the light intensity.
The optical system is identical with the 2034 and 2054-CIL series stand microscopes. The base is aluminium and is not available as an acrylic base. The 2034-CIL microscope can be combined with the special MST tripod for stability on rollers or curved surfaces.
Focussing with the coaxial rotation in the microscope body on the 2034 series is simpler especially at high magnification factors. Moreover this version is best used in combination with digital cameras, because the weight of the camera cannot change the focal point. Subsequent revamping of the body makes version 2034-CIL more expensive that the microscopes in the 2054-CIL series.
PEAK Measuring Microscope 2054-EIM
The PEAK 2054 measuring microscopes differ from the 2034 series in that they have an aluminium base, modified focusing mechanism and non-reversed view of the object. An additional prism reverses the light path inside the microscope. The upright view of the test point makes it easier to spot defects. The 2054-EIM series microscopes are particularly suitable for inspecting paint finishes in the automotive industry. Quick focusing with hand wheel and rack-and-pinion drive provides a significant advantage on active production lines. A sturdy aluminium base ensures stability even for the standard version. If desired an acrylic base is available to improve the visibility of the point to be checked. The optical system is identical with the 2034 and 2054-EIM series stand microscopes. An eight megapixel, miniature USB camera can be attached to the eyepiece allowing images to be saved on a laptop or PC. Click here to view technical data sheet.

In principle monoculars are field glasses with only one optical path. Due to the extraordinary quality of the lenses they are used preferably in combination with a close-up lens as a stand microscope without reversed image.
With PEAK M-830-S Monocular objects can be observed at a working distance of 600 mm depending. When used at greater distances the field of view ranges from approx. 72 to 149 metres at a distance of 1,000 metres from the object.
The monoculars are always supplied with a close-up lens with acrylic base. These can simply be screwed onto the monocular resulting in an excellent stand microscope with field of view of 12 mm and magnification factor of 25x. The image is not reversed. Both lens systems (eyepiece and object lens) are achromatic and always have an anti-reflection coating.
These monoculars are used, among other applications, as positioning aids in the industry. If the working distances without close-up lens are too great or the magnification not high enough, the close-up lens can be screwed into the monocular without acrylic base. This again allows fields of view, magnification factors and working distances to be achieved similar to microscopes.
Use of these monoculars in combination with the close-up lens is not limited to technical applications. Due to the high light sensitivity, true image and magnification factors, these monoculars are also preferred as vision aids. A high quality box with neck strap is included.

Peak Pen Microscope 2050
The 2050 series of pen microscopes is available with magnification factors of 25x, 50x, 75x and 100x. The primary difference in comparison to the 2036 series is that the image of the object to be measured is not reversed. A prismatic system inside the microscope reduces the overall length while simultaneously producing a true image. The built-in measuring scales offer graduations between 0.05 and 0.005 millimetres. The viewing area ranges from 3.5 to 0.86 millimetres. This high quality pen microscope also offers a separate focusing mechanism for the measuring scale as a special feature. Advantage: the object as well as the scale can be focussed in the same manner as a stand microscope. Dimensions 111 x 21 mm. Weight 28 grams. Case included.

Peak Pen Microscope 2051
The 2051 pen microscope is distinguished by its particularly large field of view and high light sensitivity. It is available with magnification factors of 30x and 60x. The large field of view is achieved by using the high quality lenses from the 2034 series The field of view is 5.8 millimetres at magnification of 30x. At the maximum available magnification factor of 60x the field of view is reduced to 3.5 millimetres. As with the 2001 and 2036 series the image of the measuring point is reversed. The sturdy design allows use in severe industrial environments. Dimensions 157 x 28 mm. Weight 28 grams. Case included.
25x Magnification, Field of View is 5.8mm
50x Magnification, Field of View is 3.5mm
Peak Pen Microscope 2056
Due to popular request, our 2056 pen microscopes are now available without graduation with magnification factors of 25x and 50x. If the pen microscope is to be used only for visual checking, a graduation such as that included as a standard feature on the 2050 series, can have an irritating effect in the image. The primary difference in comparison to the 2001 series is that the image of the object to be measured is not reversed. A prismatic system inside the microscope reduces the overall length while simultaneously producing a true image. Supplied with case. This model is not available with magnification factor of 75x or 100x. Dimensions 111 x 21 mm. Weight 28 grams. Case included.

Spare PEAK Eyepiece for 2034 & 2054 (metric)
PEAK Interchangeable eyepiece for 2034 & 2054-EIM microscopes with millimetre graduation. All eyepiece have a magnification factor of 10x. The built-in scale is calculated to match the lens. The scale can be focused separately in the eyepiece. The eye cup is already included with the stand microscope ordered.
Spare PEAK Illumination Unit 2008-LH
An illumination unit is offered as an important accessory for the PEAK 2008 microscope. It facilitates measurements on dark surfaces as well as under poor light conditions. Power is supplied by two 1.5 Volt AA batteries (not included). It is necessary to screw out the acrylic base to install the illumination unit. The light then fits from above into the acrylic base and arrests in a retaining groove. The large contact surface of the unit also increases the stability of the entire microscope/illumination unit combination.
Spare PEAK Lenses for 2034 & 2054
PEAK 2034 and 2054-EIM series microscopes offer the possibility of changing the magnification factor by changing lenses. Four additional depressions are already present in the standard transport boxes for secure transportation of interchangeable lenses. The lenses have a screw thread for extremely simple changing. However the measuring scales require particular attention. If, for example, a microscope with a magnification factor of 100x is used with a 0.01 mm scale, the reading is incorrect when the lens is changed. For this reason, always order the additional lens you intend to use for measurement together with the associated eyepiece. It is not necessary to change the eyepiece for simple visual checking.
